About the Burn Society of Kenya
The Burns Society of Kenya is a volunteer-driven professional and advocacy organization founded in 2016 to reduce the burden of preventable burn injuries in Kenya.
We bring together healthcare professionals, public health advocates, emergency responders, partners, and communities to promote fire safety, strengthen burn care, and support survivors.
Our work focuses on prevention before injury, timely care after injury, and long-term recovery for survivors and families.
From awareness campaigns in informal settlements to training health workers and advocating for stronger safety systems, BSK is committed to building a Kenya where fewer people suffer from preventable burns.
